The development of glass alternative plastic plates with special characteristics and high durability for touch panels, which are important components of flat-panel displays, has progressed. The new-generation materials will supersede the currently used glass plates. For the cutting of plastic plates, laser or router cutting technologies have conventionally been used; however, slow cutting speeds and difficulties in attaining high precision have been problems. FineTec has developed an innovative outer shape processing technology called “Super Hard Alloy Blanking Fily TM.” This is the first such development in the world. Our innovation has overcome the problems of conventional technologies and dramatically improved productivity and cost-competitiveness.
